Important Information About Space Draw
POLICY CHANGE (Effective Summer 2013)
The option to submit your 50% deposit on-site and to select your booth space within or after your Priority Classification Drawing time will no longer be allowed.
Exhibitors who wish to register on the day of Space Draw (June 16, 2012) will be consolidated into two time slots:
- Priority# 1-55: 11am-12pm
- Priority# 56-59: 5pm-Finish
If you have any questions or comments about this policy change, please contact your Sales Representative at 646.878.0301
STEP 1
Submit your contract and 20% deposit by the set deadline (May 25) to the following address:
NASFT
136 Madison Ave – 12th Floor
New York, NY 10016
Attn: Space Draw
STEP 2
Find your Priority Classification Number on your contract for participation in the Space Draw. Your Priority Classification Number will determine what time you will be able to choose from the available booths.
STEP 3
Show up on time. If you miss your appointment, the next best available booth will be chosen for you. If you cannot attend Space Draw at all, you can still submit your contract filling out section 2 with your top choices and an NASFT representative will choose one for you.
Please note… If you miss the deadline, you can still participate in Space Draw! Onsite registration requires a 50 % deposit. If you sign up after the Show ends then the cost for a booth increases to $34 per square foot.
Questions?
For more information about space draw, contact your Sales Representative at 646-878-0301.
The Winter and Summer Fancy Food Shows have their own sets of priority numbers. For example: You exhibit for the first time at the 2006 Winter Show. The 2006 Winter Show was the 31st Winter Show. Therefore, your company’s Priority Classification Number would be #31. If you also exhibited in the Summer Fancy Food Show for the first time in 2006, your company’s Priority Classification Number for Summer Shows would be #51, since that was our 51st Summer Fancy Food Show.
Maintain Your Priority Points
To maintain your Priority Points, you need to participate in the show each year and stay current on your booth payments.
- For each year that your company does not exhibit at a show, your company’s Priority Classification Number for that season (Winter or Summer) will increase (worsen) by one point.
- If your company exhibits in a distributor’s booth, that show would not count towards your Priority Points. As a result, your company’s Priority Classification Number will increase (worsen) by one point.
- If your company is delinquent in making a progress payment on your exhibit space contract, your company’s Priority Classification Number will increase (worsen) by up to two points.
How to Determine your Company’s Time of Drawing:
1. Find your Priority Classification Number, which is located in the upper right-hand corner of your Contract for Fancy food Show Exhibit Space.
2. Locate your Company’s Priority Classification number in the schedule below to determine the time you must arrive at Space Draw.
