A Celebration of Taste and Innovation

Keynote address by Chef José Andrés, an internationally-recognized culinary innovator, passionate advocate for food and hunger issues, author, television personality and chef/owner of ThinkFoodGroup. The ThinkFoodGroup is responsible for renowned restaurants such as Jaleo, Zaytinya, Oyamel, and minibar by José Andrés in Washington, DC. Named “Outstanding Chef” by the James Beard Foundation in 2011, Mr. Andrés serves on the US Travel and Tourism Advisory Board and teaches at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences as part of the course “Science and Cooking.” In addition, Mr. Andrés is the Director and Chairman of World Central Kitchen and shapes their strategies, reviews results, advocates for the non-profit issues, and helps set the overall direction of the organization.
