North Carolina's new outdoor food market is thought to be the first U.S. market devoted to wild foods and herbs. The market is the latest in the growing movement toward eating food foraged from forests and fields, rather than cultivated on farms. The non-farmers market will be held monthly near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a similar weekly market scheduled to open next month in Asheville, reports Reuters. Full Story
