Korean Korner is an international supermarket located in Wheaton, Maryland. It started in 1979 on Fenton Street in downtown Silver Spring, and then relocated to Wilkins Ave. in Rockville in 1987. At that time, it was a biggest Asian market on the East Coast. With business booming, it relocated to a larger space in Wheaton in 1991. Though you will find an abundance of Korean specialties here, the store also has an extensive selection of ethnic food items from all over the world, especially Japan, China, Southeast Asia and Latin-American countries. In addition, the Korean Korner also carries a huge selection of Hispanic products such as Maseca, tortillas, Canilla rice, cilantro and plum tomatoes.
