Sullivan Harbor Farm: Omega Burst
Outstanding Appetizer, Antipasto, Salsa or Dip
sofi Silver Finalist 2010
Sullivan Harbor Farm of Hancock, Maine, uses the freshest salmon from the cold waters of the Bay of Fundy, transported directly to its smokehouse only 65 miles from the harvest site. Owners and operators Leslie Harlow and Joel Frantzman employ an artisanal method for curing and smoking salmon with small kilns and hardwood. Their sustainable farming practices include good-quality feed with high levels of Omega 3s and low stocking density. In addition, the fish are raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones. They are prepared without preservatives, colorings or chemicals.
Ready-to-eat smoked salmon flavors include Maple-Pepper and Cajun.
