The 5,000-square-foot Charles Chocolates flagship store and candy kitchen, a retail concept owned by chocolatier Chuck Siegel, which includes a shop, café and an open manufacturing facility, recently opened on the fourth floor of the Westfield Shopping Center on Market Street. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall lets chocolate lovers to watch every step of the candy-making process. The shop will also offer tours and other special events for an even closer look at its process. The case and café feature evolving and creative chocolate lines and delicious baked goods, including French macarons, three to four cakes, brownies and ice cream. —Laiko Bahrs
