Oneview Commerce, a technology company helping retailers improve store and customer experience, announced that it has been working on a series of digital programs for Kroger. The solutions utilize the tech company’s Unified Commerce Platform, an ecommerce tool.

Kroger is using the Oneview's headless commerce capabilities, a framework that allows Kroger to store, manage, and deliver content without a “front end” which enables the company to operate with more control and agility, according to Oneview. The capabilities are used to finalize digital orders for curbside pickup or home delivery and are operational at more than 1,000 Kroger locations.

"Using OneView's platform, we continue to deliver an innovative associate experience," said Sriram Samu, customer technology VP at Kroger, in a statement. "The solution helps us create a seamless associate experience through guided processes and simplified training—ultimately reducing our customer wait times."

Development teams at the retailer use Oneview’s unified commerce transaction engine to adapt to store associate and customer needs.

"We are pleased to support Kroger's phenomenal success in speeding delivery of solutions based on their strategic business transformation priorities and customers' needs," said Oneview CEO Linda Palanza, in a statement. "Their results are a testament to our vision for unified commerce and our platform's power to enhance customer and store associate experiences while enabling retailers to retain control over the development and delivery of new brand-based interactions."
