Old-fashioned shrubs modernized in a functional beverage
NEW YORK, NY (June 09, 2022) — Shrubbly® Superdrink is making its trade show debut as an exhibitor at the 2022 Summer Fancy Food Show, June 12-14. Samples of the crisp and refreshing Lemon Ginger + Aronia Berry and Pomegranate + Aronia Berry flavors are available at booth #6216, located in the Startup Pavillion at the Javits Center.
Shrubbly modernizes old-fashioned shrubs by using organic wellness shot ingredients and sparkling water to make a ready-to-drink, fruity and lightly sparkling functional beverage in a category of its own. Both farm-to-can shrub-based flavors are made with six (or fewer) ingredients, and are 100-percent organic, gluten-free, low calorie (5-25cal), no/low sugar (0-6g), low carbohydrate (1-7g), keto-friendly and fat-free. The Lemon Ginger flavor is also Whole30 approved.
Shrubbly’s function comes from herbs, spices, ACV, and fruits like high antioxidant berries (aronia berries boast 5x the antioxidants of blueberries and cranberries) that aid in reducing inflammation and benefit muscle recovery after exercise. The aronia berries are grown on founder Matt Sayre’s USDA certified organic family farm. In addition, the beverage’s low pH level stimulates greater salvation, making it more thirst quenching.
