Wegmans will open two northern New Jersey stores in 2017, and plans to open a third location in Brooklyn, NY, in 2018. The Rochester-based supermarket chain will open a 113,000-sq. ft. location in Hanover, N.J., July 23, and will open its Montvale, N.J., location on Sept. 24, which is slated to be 108,000-sq. ft. The company will employ about 500 people at both New Jersey locations. The company did not disclose the opening date for the Brooklyn store, but it will be the company's first location in New York City, reports NBC New York. Full Story
