The Judging Panel
Maria Loi is the chef and owner of Loi Estiatorio in New York and a gourmet restaurant in Nafpaktos, Greece. She is a popular television chef in Greece and the author of more than 36 cookbooks, and over 150 magazine editions. The Chef’s Club of Greece has recognized her as an official Ambassador of Greek Gastronomy.
Sid Wainer & Sons
Henry Wainer is the president and owner of Sid Wainer & Son, a premier supplier of specialty produce and specialty foods to the foodservice and hospitality industry. He has been recognized for his commitment to promote food safety and received an honorary doctorate from Johnson & Wales University.
American Culinary Federation
Tom Macrina is the president of the American Culinary Federation since 2013. He is a Certified Executive Chef®, Certified Culinary Administrator®, and a member of the American Academy of Chefs®, the honor society of the American Culinary Federation. He is executive chef/product specialist manager for US Foods, Philadelphia Division.
Greenwood Hospitality Group
Bill Kohl is a principal of Greenwood Hospitality Group, responsible for the strategic and operational direction of Greenwood’s portfolio of hotels including food and beverage initiatives. He currently serves on the board of directors of the National Restaurant Association and the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
