Mitchell Berliner

Mitchell Berliner is the co-founder and Chief Sampling Officer of MeatCrafters, a company specializing in craft sausages and charcuterie made with a passion for quality and flavor. His food journey began early—inspired by his mom’s insistence that her sons learn to cook—and has been fueled by a lifelong love of food, farming, and community. By age 22, Mitchell had launched his first gourmet-to-go business, and he went on to own distributorships, a restaurant, and Central Farm Markets. 

A Specialty Food Association member for more than 20 years, Mitchell is also a proud participant in the SFA Mentorship Program. He’s driven by the passion of others: “This industry is filled with people who truly care about what they create,” he says. 

Today, Mitchell is focused on growing MeatCrafters nationally and giving back to the specialty food community, showing his gratitude for a career that has brought him purpose, connection, and joy.
