Stewart Reich

Stewart Reich is a revered veteran of the specialty food industry, with more than five decades of leadership across manufacturing, distribution, brokerage, and industry advocacy. He began his career with Charlotte Charles, where he oversaw distributing and manufacturing operations and served as Executive Vice President when the company became the first specialty food business to go public in 1983. 

Following Charlotte Charles’ sale to Portland Food Products in 1990, Stewart continued as Vice President and General Manager of American Specialty Food Distributing. He later transitioned into consulting before entering the brokerage sector in 1994, acquiring Three Crown Sales. One year later, that company merged with Hanson Faso Associates, forming the predecessor to Hanson Faso Sales and Marketing, Inc. 

Stewart’s influence extends deeply into industry leadership. He has served on numerous Specialty Food Association (SFA) committees, including multiple years as Chairman of the Broker Council, and became the first broker to serve on the Association’s board. In recognition of his contributions, Stewart was inducted into the SFA Hall of Fame in 2019.
