Mark Hamstra

Mark Hamstra is a freelance business writer and editor who covers a range of topics and industries, including food retailing and logistics, the restaurant industry, and others. Before becoming a freelance business journalist, hespent about 20 years as a staff writer, editor, and content director at a handful of trade publications, including Supermarket News and Nation’s Restaurant News. As a freelancer, Hamstra currently writes news and feature articles and creates other digital content for several B2B publications and websites. He has a BA in journalism from Metropolitan State University of Denver. In his free time, Hamstra and his wife enjoy traveling and exploring New York City.
