You’ve been a longtime exhibitor at SFA trade shows. As we get closer to Winter FancyFaire* 2026, what makes these shows meaningful platforms for The Perfect Purée—and what are you most looking forward to about San Diego?
We’re looking forward to the Winter FancyFaire* and to San Diego as the host city. Over the years, the SFA Shows have been pivotal events for The Perfect Purée—a true launchpad for innovation. The Show brings together a global community of tastemakers, trendsetters, and specialty food enthusiasts, and we’re excited to unveil our new products for 2026.
Your booth is known for its energy—fun tastings and creative collaborations. What can attendees expect from your Winter FancyFaire* presence? Any sneak peeks you can share?
You can expect great food and drinks as always, but we’re especially thrilled to offer an exclusive first taste of our new product lines before their official launch. This will be the very first opportunity for the public to sample them, and we believe they’re going to make a big impact.
The Perfect Purée recently became the first company in the foodservice industry to fund a scholarship for the Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund. How did this partnership come about, and what does it mean to your team to invest in the next generation of culinary talent?
Our partnership with the Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund grew out of admiration for the ambition and resilience of young chefs. It’s incredibly rewarding to support mentorship, education, and career opportunities that shape the future of the industry. We hope other companies in the foodservice space are inspired to join us in supporting the next generation of culinary talent.
Flavor innovation is core to your brand. How do new purée flavors come to life, and how do you stay on top of emerging trends?
Trends come and go, but our focus remains on making fruit consistently available while preserving its fresh-picked flavor. Many of these fruits hold deep meaning in certain cuisines and cultures but can be difficult to find year-round. There’s a special moment when someone tastes one of our purées and it evokes a childhood memory of that fruit. That’s what we aim for: not just flavor, but the full sensory experience.
The Perfect Purée has long championed ingredient quality and authenticity. How do you approach sourcing and sustainability to maintain the vibrant, true-to-fruit flavors you’re known for?
We source fruit from the regions where it grows best—from tropical locales to domestic orchards and fields. Our long-standing relationships with growers who follow sustainable practices help us maintain our high-quality standards. We take the “perfect” in our name seriously, carefully adjusting each batch to account for natural variations in sugar and acidity to ensure every jar delivers consistent, true-to-fruit flavor.
At 37 years and counting, The Perfect Purée continues to thrive. What keeps your team inspired after nearly four decades, and what’s next for the brand?
Nothing inspires us more than our customers—from culinary students discovering our products for the first time to business owners who rely on our purées behind the bar and in the kitchen.
