San-J president, Takashi Sato, is eighth generation of the founding family faithfully following the exacting standards for brewing the finest Tamari. San-J began brewing the first Tamari from their Henrico, Virginia, facility in 1987, continuing 200 years tradition of Japanese brewing mastery.
