Calabro’s products use all natural ingredients and after 59 years in business, original old world recipes are still used when making our products. Several of our products are hand crafted and our items are made with superior quality. We are winners of numerous awards including those from The American Cheese Society.

For over half a century, Calabro Cheese has been a leader in manufacturing Italian Artisanal Cheeses.  We use New England Farm Fresh Milk that is rBST-free. Our cheeses are Gluten-free. The Ricotta line is Kosher Certified by KVH Kosher. Calabro holds HACCP certification from the FDA and USDA. We also have SERVSAFE Certification, and we are in the process of obtaining SQF (Safe Quality Food) Level 2. Calabro is also in the process of reintroducing our Organic product line certified by CCOF.  Over the years, our fresh whole milk Dand-Dipped Ricotta, our Mozzarella Fiordilatte and various other specialty cheeses, have won many awards from the American Cheese Society, and the United States Championship Cheese Contest, Madison, WI. Calabro is a family of cheese makers that is committed to the highest production standards, resulting in the highest quality cheeses.

Ricotta Di Bufala

Our Ricotta di Bufala is made from the whey of the Mozzarella di Bufala, Caciocavallo di Bufala, and Burrata di Bufala. Additionally, Buffalo milk is added into the rich, sweet whey and is slow cooked to a very high temperature. The nebulized curds that rise to the top of the kettle are delicate and soft.

Organic Whole Milk Ricotta

Calabro's Organic Ricotta is made from organically certified fresh whole milk. It has a sweet flavor, and is moist and creamy in texture. Ricotta complements the flavor of various foods, as in fresh summer fruits, and it is the main ingredient in lasagna, as well as in pastries as Cannoli Cream.
