We have two classes of membership, General and Alliance.
All members come in as Tier 1.
Initial applications are processed within 48 hours but the full process can take up to 5 days. You do not need to be a product manufacturer to apply for Tier 1 membership.
Benefits include our daily eNewsletter, discounted services and products, member rates on attendee badges for the Fancy Food Shows and more.
General Members:
Businesses that produce, sell, or resell specialty food products. Examples include, but are not limited to:

*Membership Dues $300 + $100 Application Fee
*Membership dues automatically renew every 12 months based upon join/anniversary date. All membership fees are non-refundable.
Alliance Members:
Businesses that advance and support the specialty food industry. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Consultants
- Financial Services
- Freight Services
- Government Organizations
- Graphic Designers
- Incubators
- Investment Entities
- Legal
- Logistics
- Marketing Services
- Media
- Pavilion Organizers
- Public Relations

- Software/Digital Solutions

Not eligible for membership
Manufacturers of:
- Pet food
- Foods containing CBD* or THC
- Nutritional/health supplements (products such as vitamins or amino acids intended to supplement one's diet)
The Process of Joining SFA
Applicants for membership will receive confirmation in approximately five business days - after their application has been reviewed by the SFA and all requirements have been satisfied.
All approved applicants for Specialty Food Association memberships come into the association as Tier 1 members. Benefits are outlined above.
Tier 2 benefits include exhibiting at the Fancy Food Shows* and any SFA digital events, entering our sofi Awards™, and more.

Qualified Tier 1 Members will receive all the information needed to submit their product for qualification (one-time fee of $150 applies) to take advantage of all Tier 2 membership.
