As part of the internationally celebrated Holistic Holiday at Sea cruise, Altro proudly joined a transformative wellness journey that brought together over 1,500 dedicated health enthusiasts (with up to 5,800 total passengers) for a week of nourishment, discovery, and vibrant plant-based living.
Named one of the “100 Best Worldwide Vacations to Enrich Your Life” by National Geographic Traveler, this unique wellness cruise provided Altro Food with the ideal platform to connect with a passionate and engaged audience focused on holistic health and vegan nutrition.
Altro was proudly featured in the ship’s all-inclusive buffet offerings throughout the week. Cruise guests enjoyed Altro’s Taco Mince at the Mexican station and a hearty Bolognese crafted with Altro’s plant-based Mince at the pasta station. The response was overwhelming—both dishes were among the first to disappear each day, a clear sign of their popularity with passengers across the ship.
In addition to the buffet, Altro’s retail product line—including their Egg Mix, Burger Mix, Cutlets, and the Mince varieties—performed exceptionally well at the onboard Vegan Market, held in the ship’s bookstore. Guests looking to bring the cruise experience home stocked up on retail packs, demonstrating strong demand for Altro’s versatile, flavorful, and clean-ingredient plant-based products.
