(Green Bay, Wis.) – BelGioioso Cheesemakers have created a new and exciting Artigiano® Cheese, soaked in a citrusy, sweet orange marinade. Artigiano® Blood Orange is the newest cheese being showcased at the BelGioioso Cheese booth# 2936 at the Summer Fancy Food show.
Artigiano®, which means Artisan in Italian, is a unique cheese carefully hand-crafted and aged for 6 to 8 months to achieve its distinct flavor, aroma and fine crystalline texture. It’s a mixed culture cheese with complex flavors that lends itself to pairing well with flavors such as Aged Balsamic Vinegar & Cipolline Onion, red wine or Vino Rosso and Blueberry and now Blood Orange. Artigiano® cheeses have distinct flavors with each offering, making them great for snacking, as part of a cheeseboard, or even crumbled over salads.
