Hoboken, NJ — June 27, 2025 — New Age Drinks, the functional beverage startup behind BrainPOP Drink, is proud to announce its debut at the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City, hosted at the Javits Center. BrainPOP, a clean-caffeine drink created to support brain health, energy, and focus without the crash, will be featured at Booth #3619 in the New Jersey Pavilion, thanks to the support of the New Jersey Business Action Center (BAC).
Founded in Hoboken, NJ by a brain injury survivor and wellness advocate, BrainPOP was born from a deeply personal journey. “After my injury, I became obsessed with brain health,” says the founder. “I wanted a caffeine beverage that worked with my brain, not against it.” BrainPOP has been featured on a number of national news channels and publication. Bill O’Reilly discovered BrainPOP and loved its flavor and low-sugar profile. In one of his broadcasts, he urged Americans to “@get off sugar” and choose clean alternatives like BrainPOP.
BrainPOP’s unique formula combines 90 mg of caffeine—from green tea, green coffee bean and guarana—with brain-supportive co-nutrients such as taurine, theanine, creatine, choline, glutamine, vitamin D and magnesium. This synergistic blend delivers a smooth, sustained energy boost that many describe as “jitter-free” and “crash-resistant.” BrainPOP uses fruit purées, which add a burst of fresh flavor. This, in combination with only 7g of organic cane sugar, makes each 12oz can less than 30 calories. Say goodbye to the aftertaste from traditional energy drinks and high-sugar, highly caffeinated beverages that leave one with a big crash after a big jolt of energy. BrainPOP Drink is paving the way forward for a new category: the “BrainPOP Drink section” in the energy drink aisle.
The drink has garnered a growing fanbase among:
- Caffeine-sensitive consumers
- Wellness and fitness enthusiasts
- Pre- and post-workout users
- Mocktail mixers and cocktail innovators
- Coffee alternatives seekers
Currently available in two bold flavors—Dragonberry Warrior and Mojito Madness—BrainPOP will soon reintroduce its tropical favorite, Mango Colada, and is developing a brain shot for on-the-go and military-friendly use cases. This next-gen shot format is part of a proposed collaboration with Rutgers University, supported by a $40,000 grant currently in review by the State of New Jersey. BrainPOP has received a number of honorarium mentions including the Good Food Foundation’s Soda Award for the Mojito Madness flavor.
BrainPOP was originally launched with state grant funding aimed at promoting innovation and wellness in New Jersey. The company continues to gain traction as it works to define a new category in the functional beverage space: Brain Beverages.
