For Bitter For Worse Unveils Single-Serve Can of The Saskatoon at Fancy Food Show

New York, NY — June 29, 2025 — Award-winning non-alcoholic drinks brand For Bitter For Worse has announced the debut of a new single-serve can format for their popular red wine alternative, The Saskatoon, at the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York.

“Consumers embrace—and actively request—single-serve formats for wine and wine alternatives, so this new release is a direct response to our customers,” says Shelley Elkovich, founder of For Bitter For Worse.

The Saskatoon, described as “red wine’s mysterious, wiser friend,” is crafted to elevate red wine moments—without the alcohol. Best served lightly chilled alongside charcuterie or savory dishes, The Saskatoon offers complex layers of dark fruit, warm baking spices, and a bright tannic finish, thanks to its signature ingredient: foraged Douglas fir tips.

Rather than deconstructing a traditional wine and stripping away the alcohol, Elkovich developed the beverage using a proprietary process and over a dozen organic botanicals to create a sophisticated, wine-inspired experience.

The new single-serve can joins the brand’s growing portfolio, which includes two other celebrated expressions—both sparkling aperitifs.

For Bitter For Worse continues to redefine the non-alcoholic beverage space, providing complex, adult-oriented drinks that celebrate flavor, ritual, and inclusivity.
