A quintessential Mexican dish, moles traditionally involve a laborious and time intensive process that HERNÁN has made accessible and ready in 5 minutes with their mole paste.
HERNÁN’s moles are made using traditional toasting and roasting of each ingredient, and a blending process that results in a thick mole paste like those sold in mercados in Mexico. Their pastes had been previously packaged in a jar, and they’ve now transitioned them into a resealable, lighter - easy to ship & carry pouch. Mole pastes combine effortlessly with broth or water and in 5 minutes ready to serve with poultry, meats, fish, shrimp, or as enchilada sauce. It is also recommended over eggs for huevos rancheros. Since it is a naturally plant-based product (also a key focal point on their packaging), it is ideal for vegan dishes over tofu, breaded eggplant, baked potatoes, other grilled vegetables or seitan.
