Organic Gorgonzola, Bountiful Blue, and Smoked Bountiful Blue debut with nationwide distribution
Cambria, WI (March 3, 2026) - Kingston Creamery, the Wisconsin-based Amish creamery known for its award-winning blue cheeses and commitment to responsible farming, is introducing three new cheeses to market: Organic Gorgonola, Bountiful Blue, and Smoked Bountiful Blue. These new offerings build on Kingston’s long-standing cheesemaking traditions, expanding its blue cheese selection through careful recipe development, while staying true to the craftsmanship and exceptional milk quality that have defined the creamery for decades.
Organic Gorgonzola: A Rare, Organic Take on a Classic
Kingston Creamery’s new Organic Gorgonzola offers a distinctive addition to the U.S. cheese market, where organic versions of this classic style remain relatively rare. Crafted using certified organic cow’s milk sourced from small, family-owned Wisconsin farms, the cheese reflects Kingston’s commitment to responsible farming and exceptional milk quality. Cows graze on certified organic pastures during the growing season and receive organic feed year-round, resulting in milk with a naturally bright, tangy character.
While the cheese shares visual characteristics with Kingston’s traditional blue line, the recipe is uniquely its own, featuring a custom culture blend, carefully selected molds, and refined moisture and fat ratios. The result is a softer-bodied blue with a creamy, balanced tang. Organic Gorgonzola pairs well with fresh fruit, charcuterie boards, crisp apples, grapes, and salads, and melts smoothly into fondues or crumbles easily over steaks and burgers.
Bountiful Blue & Smoked Bountiful Blue: Distinctive Sheep’s Milk Blue Cheese
In addition to Organic Gorgonzola, Kingston Creamery is introducing Bountiful Blue and Smoked Bountiful Blue, two sheep’s milk blue cheeses made with milk from Kingston’s newly expanded sheep dairies.
“Our experienced, licensed cheesemakers have thoughtfully crafted this new sheep’s milk recipe,” said Nelson Schrock, General Manager at Kingston Creamery. “The flavor of Bountiful Blue is similar to Roquefort cheese imported from France. You’ll find earthy, deep blue flavor tones, while still maintaining the sweet, fruity, and creamy qualities that Kingston Creamery cheeses are known for. We’re excited to introduce this new cheese to the market.”
The Smoked Bountiful Blue adds an additional layer of complexity, marrying the bold character of sheep’s milk blue cheese with a subtle, balanced smokiness.

All three cheeses are now available through Kingston Creamery’s national distribution network as well as select retail grocers and on Kingston’s website.
