CULVER CITY, CA — October 27, 2025 — Muria Foods, the South Florida–born brand known for its bold Pepper No. 1 Preserve, is teaming up with neighborhood sandwich shop Monroe Place in Culver City for a special sandwich that brings a little “sweet heat” to the West Coast.
The collaboration kicked off with a one-day preview during the Culver City Art Walk on Saturday, October 18, where visitors got the first taste of the new sandwich before the official launch. Following the Art Walk debut, The Peppa Pig will run as a shop special from Monday, October 27 through Sunday, November 2 — or until sell-out.
The Peppa Pig layers Muria Foods Spicy Pepper Preserves, Kewpie mayo, soppressata, goat cheese, shaved red onion, and arugula, finished with a drizzle of olive oil and sherry vinegar, all tucked inside a crisp baguette. “We’ve always believed that condiments can tell stories,” says Shyela Malani, Co-Founder and COO of Muria Foods. “This collaboration with Monroe Place celebrates that — it’s about preserving flavor, community, and a little personality in every bite.”
The partnership marks Muria’s first Los Angeles collaboration since expanding its signature pepper spread beyond Florida’s markets and farmstands. For Monroe Place, known for its fresh-made sandwiches and creative weekly specials, the Peppa Pig is a chance to spotlight local craft ingredients and independent makers. “We love working with small brands that care about quality as much as we do,” says Sara, owner of Monroe Place. “The Muria pepper preserve adds the perfect touch — sweet, spicy, and totally addictive.”
The Peppa Pig will be available for dine-in or take-away at Monroe Place in Culver City for its official limited run from October 27 – November 2, 2025, while supplies last.
