Because colorful, handmade plates make everything taste more delicious!
NEW YORK, NY (NOVEMBER 3, 2025) – Peanut butter lovers, rejoice! November is National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month and Peanut Butter & Co, the family-owned peanut butter brand made exclusively with USA-Grown peanuts, is launching a limited-edition line of PB&J-inspired sandwich plates produced in collaboration with Brooklyn artist and ceramicist Jessica Campbell and her studio, Messy Jessy Ceramics.
The handmade plates are produced by Campbell using a Japanese technique called nerikomi, layering peanut butter and jelly-colored clays to create swirls that look just like a PB&J. The 8-inch plates are available exclusively at https://ilovepeanutbutter.com/products/peanut-butter-swirl-sandwich-plate
Peanut Butter & Co is offering a free one-pound jar of its world-famous gourmet peanut butter with the purchase of every plate through Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
For her collaboration with Peanut Butter & Co, Campbell was inspired by the joy a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich brings every time you take a bite. Discussing her process, she says “I started with white porcelain and various pigments and tested different combinations until I found the precise recipes for colors that evoked juicy jams like grape, strawberry and apricot, banana, and of course creamy peanut butter. Then I wedged the colors together to create the swirl pattern before rolling out the clay and crafting the plates.” She continues, “working with clay is a lot like baking. The raw clay is like dough—mixed, kneaded, and shaped—and when it’s fired in the kiln, it’s like bread fresh from the oven,” says Campbell.
“We’re very excited to partner with a talented artist like Jessica,” says Peanut Butter & Co Founder, Lee Zalben. “Our customers don’t just like peanut butter, they’re obsessed with it, and these plates are a fun way to take your peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or any peanut buttery treat for that matter, to the next level!”
