Rutgers University’s Food Innovation Center announces New Jersey FoodTech 2025

April 8, 2025 -- NJ FoodTech 2025 -- Rutgers University’s Food Innovation Center, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, along with Middlesex County, announce New Jersey FoodTech 2025, which will be held on June 25th at the Rutgers College Avenue Student Center. 

The Food Innovation Center at Rutgers is hosting its third annual NJ FoodTech 2025 with this year’s theme Collaborate to Innovate on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Rutgers College Avenue Student Center, 126 College Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

Join industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, students, and public partners at New Jersey FoodTech 2025—a full-day, high-impact event designed to spotlight collaboration as the catalyst for driving innovation in the food sector.  This year’s theme, "Collaborate to Innovate," will bring together key players in New Jersey’s growing food technology ecosystem to explore:

  • Public-private partnerships powering innovation and regional growth
  • Retail and distribution strategies that scale emerging food brands
  • AI and advanced technologies transforming flavor, safety, and production
  • Investment insights and market outlooks shaping the future of food

The Food Innovation Center is a unique food business incubation and economic development program, which is part of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Our center provides business and technology expertise to startup and established food and value-added agricultural businesses, locally and globally. FIC operates out of two USDA- and FDA-certified manufacturing facilities located in Piscataway and Bridgeton, NJ.
