Texas Iberico's Oak Smoked Bacon Named Finalist for 2026 sofi™ Awards; 100% Texas-Made Product from Snout to Shelf Earns National Recognition

Austin, Texas October 15, 2025 Texas Iberico's Oak Smoked Bacon has been named a Finalist in the 2026 sofi™ Awards, the specialty food industry's most prestigious honor recognizing excellence, innovation, and flavor.

The sofi™ Awards, presented by the Specialty Food Association, celebrate the best specialty food and beverage products from around the world. Texas Iberico's Oak Smoked Bacon stood out among thousands of entries for its distinctive, rich flavor and authentic Texas craftsmanship. Gold and Grand Honors winners will be announced live at the Winter FancyFaire in San Diego, January 2026.

Made from 100% Texas-raised Iberico pigs, the Oak Smoked Bacon is gently smoked over Texas oak for a deep, nuanced flavor that honors both traditional Spanish techniques and local heritage. From snout to shelf, every step of production happens in Texas. The pigs are raised on Texas Hill Country ranches, processed in Texas facilities, and crafted into bacon right here in the Lone Star State. A true farm-to-table story that showcases what's possible when quality and place come together.

Texas Iberico developed the recipe and flavor profile in partnership with Pederson's Natural Farms located in Hamilton, Texas.
