Indianapolis, IN – Bollygood, founder and CEO Maxine Henderson’s modern take on the traditional Indian drink Nimbu Pani, will exhibit at the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show taking place June 29th – July 1st at the Javits Center in New York City. Produced by the Specialty Food Association, the show offers three days of product discovery, networking, and business opportunities to thousands of food and beverage industry members, leaders, and makers from across the world. A first-time exhibitor, Bollygood will showcase its Indian-inspired sparkling lemonade and limeade in Booth #1142A to attendees.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Bollygood and thousands of other brands to New York this June for the 2025 Summer Show,” said Billy Lynch, president of the Specialty Food Association (SFA). “Our fantastic community, productive networking events, and inspiring programming all help to make this show one of the tentpole events of the food industry’s annual cycle – but its true beating heart is the group of exhibitors who showcase the newest and best in specialty food each year.”
“We are excited to showcase Bollygood at the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show as a first-time exhibitor,” says founder and CEO Maxine Henderson.
Bollygood is founder and CEO Maxine Henderson’s modern and innovative take on the traditional Indian drink enjoyed for centuries called Nimbu Pani. Maxine’s new spin on what’s commonly known as Indian Lemonade is based on her grandmother’s recipe with some fun, herb-forward, functional, fruity, and fizzy twists. Bollygood is rooted in the principles of Ayurveda, India’s ancient system of holistic healing, which supports digestion, hydration, and overall wellness. In its original form, Nimbu Pani is non-sparkling and made using 40 grams of added sugar, whereas Bollygood is a better-for-you sparkling version with only 7 grams of added sugar, functional ingredients, and is Non-GMO Project Verified. Bollygood is a certified woman-owned (WBENC) and minority-owned company (NMSDC).
Modern flavors meet centuries of Indian tradition in 4 mouthwatering versions of Nimbu Pani:
- Lemon Ginger Mint
- Lime Basil Cumin
- Lemon Mango Turmeric
- Lemon Pomegranate Cardamom
Growing up, Maxine spent her summers in India sipping on its iconic refreshing beverage on hot days. The custom of making Nimbu Pani has been around for centuries, using a recipe that’s a combination of water, citrus juice, herbs, spices and cane sugar. “You’ll never forget your first Nimbu Pani,” says Maxine. “When I began to make it for my own family, I wanted to evolve the recipe into one that fit our healthier lifestyle but still honored the traditions I grew up with.” Bollygood uses India’s age-old, functional recipe and adds a sparkling twist, juicy fruits, and modern flavors for a nostalgic yet modern taste.
Originally launched with two flavors, Bollygood underwent a refresh in 2023, which included reformulating its recipes, redesigning the packaging, adding two new flavors, and becoming Non-GMO Project Verified. Made with real citrus juice and only 50 calories per can, Bollygood is quickly turning heads and gaining major traction in some of the most respected retailers in the country. Bollygood is currently in all Fresh Thyme stores, select locations of Whole Foods Market Northeast, The Fresh Market, and Giant. By the end of June, Bollygood will be available in all Whole Foods Markets in the Northeast region and in select Walmart locations.
Bollygood is currently available nationwide at bollygood.com and select grocery stores including Whole Foods Market, Fresh Thyme, The Fresh Market, Giant, and more.
