The high-protein couscous brand has passed a $2 million annual run rate and is on shelves in more than 90 stores across 22 states.

CARBONDALE, Colo., October 19, 2026 – Boostcous, maker of the world's first good-for-you couscous, has named Kyle Seebohm its Head of Growth. Seebohm joins from Momofuku, where he was VP of Omnichannel Growth Marketing.

He joins at a fast-growing moment for the brand. Boostcous has passed a $2 million annual revenue run rate, shipped more than 20,000 direct-to-consumer orders, and earned more than 600 five-star reviews across its website and Amazon. It's sold in more than 90 stores across 22 states, including Raley's and independent grocers nationwide. Wegmans, Hy-Vee and Gelson's are coming soon, and UNFI recently selected Boostcous for its UpNext program.

At Boostcous, Seebohm will lead growth across direct-to-consumer, Amazon and retail, including the rollout of four new flavors: Pesto, Garlic & Olive Oil, Chili Crisp, and White Cheddar & Parm.

“We're trying to make couscous cool again,” said Bar Bruhis, founder of Boostcous. “More than 20,000 orders later, we know people want a better couscous. Now we need to get it in front of everyone. Kyle spent nearly five years growing Momofuku across ecommerce and retail, and he's exactly who we wanted leading our next chapter.”

“The defining brands of the future will combine great taste with food that makes you feel good. Boostcous does both, and that's why people keep coming back,” said Seebohm. “It's a true category first, the reviews speak for themselves, and the couscous aisle hasn't seen real innovation in decades. I'm excited to bring Boostcous to more kitchens and more shelves.”

Couscous has been a pantry staple for generations, but the category has barely changed. Pasta already has good-for-you options like Banza, Brami and Goodles. Couscous had none until Boostcous. Boostcous Classic Pearled High Protein Couscous has 18g of protein and 11g of fiber per serving. It's made from three ingredients (peas, chickpeas and lentils) and is ready in about 5 minutes, faster than rice or pasta. Boostcous is certified gluten-free by GFCO and certified kosher by COR. It's made with Non-GMO Project certified ingredients, and every production run is third-party tested for glyphosate.

Before Momofuku, Seebohm led growth strategy and operations at Quay Australia and worked as a strategy and operations consultant at Deloitte. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.
