Turning export potential into global success
Chicago, IL | Philadelphia, PA (June 25, 2026) - For more than 50 years, Food Export USA has helped small and medium-sized food and agricultural companies navigate the complexities of international trade, connect with qualified buyers, and grow sales in markets around the world. That mission comes to life this month at the 2026 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.
From June 26–27, Food Export will host its annual Specialty Food Buyers Mission, bringing together international buyers and U.S. suppliers for two days of targeted meetings designed to spark new business relationships and open doors to global opportunities. The momentum continues June 28–30 at the Summer Fancy Food Show, where Food Export will exhibit at Booth 6439 and welcome attendees interested in growing their businesses through exporting.
Food Export team members will be on hand to share resources, answer questions, and help companies identify the next steps in their export journey.
"At Food Export, we believe every company should have access to the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed internationally," said Brendan Wilson, Chief Executive Officer. "The Summer Fancy Food Show and our Specialty Food Buyers Mission create opportunities for buyers and suppliers to build lasting business relationships, discover new markets, and turn international potential into export success."
Whether a company is exploring exports for the first time or looking to expand into new markets, Food Export offers a comprehensive portfolio of export education, market development, trade promotion, and financial assistance programs designed to reduce risk and accelerate growth.
"One of the best parts of our job is getting to know companies and understanding where they want to grow," said Paul Weiss, Liaison Manager. "Our liaison team is looking forward to meeting attendees, identifying export opportunities, and helping businesses navigate the programs and resources that can turn those opportunities into results."
The Summer Fancy Food Show also serves as a launching point for Food Export's next major outreach initiative: Summer in the Cities, a multi-city networking and educational series taking place this August in Detroit, Indianapolis, and Albany. The events will bring together exporters, industry partners, and state agricultural representatives to share insights, strengthen connections, and explore new opportunities for export growth. Registration deadline closes on July 3.
