GOLD RIDGE ORGANIC FARMS’ “WITH LOVE FROM SONOMA COUNTY” PACKAGING WINS PRESTIGEOUS 2026 GDUSA AMERICAN PACKAGE DESIGN AWARD

Sonoma County organic olive oil producer and Petaluma design firm Truly Creative honored for vibrant new packaging celebrating the connection between farming, art, and place

SEBASTOPOL, Calif., October 7, 2026 — Gold Ridge Organic Farms’ colorful new “With Love From Sonoma County” olive oil packaging collection has been named a winner in Graphic Design USA magazine’s 2026 American Package Design Awards, one of the country’s established showcases of excellence in packaging and graphic design.

Created in partnership with Truly Creative, the Petaluma-based brand strategy and package design studio led by founder and Creative Director Carrie Dufour, the award-winning packaging was introduced in early summer for Gold Ridge Organic Farms’ collection of estate-grown organic extra virgin olive oils and co-milled citrus olive oils.

The new labels bring the color, character, and agricultural beauty of Sonoma County's landscapes to the bottle. Inspired by Gold Ridge Organic Farms’ “A Feast for the Senses” positioning, the collection was designed to reflect the vibrancy of the farm and the distinctive flavors of the organic olive oils inside.

“We’re thrilled that our new Gold Ridge Organic Farms olive oil labels have been recognized as a 2026 GDUSA American Package Design Award winner,” said Carrie Dufour, founder and Creative Director of Truly Creative. “The labels were created to capture what we love most about Gold Ridge: the vibrancy of nature, the joy of growing good food, and the creativity that runs through everything they do. We couldn’t be happier to see the bottles recognized alongside some of the best in American packaging design.”

Dufour’s Truly Creative is a Petaluma design studio specializing in brand strategy and package design for food, beverage, and wellness brands. The Gold Ridge Organic Farms project also credits designer Annika Greenawalt and Sonoma County artist and illustrator Teri Sloat, whose original artwork helped transform the farm’s connection to the landscape into a distinctive package design.

The “With Love From Sonoma County” collection extends the art and experience of Gold Ridge Organic Farms beyond the orchard. Sloat’s artwork for the labels grew from Abundance, the mural she created for the Gold Ridge tasting room. The bottles use expressive color and illustration to evoke the individual character of the oils while creating a unified collection designed for the kitchen, table, and gifting.

“Farming in Sonoma County is about much more than what we grow. It’s about the landscape, the seasons, the people, and the creativity of this community,” said Brooke Hazen, farmer and founder of Gold Ridge Organic Farms. With Love From Sonoma County brings all of those things together. Carrie, Teri, and the Truly Creative team found a beautiful way to tell the story of our farm and our organic olive oils through these bottles. To have that work recognized by GDUSA makes this collaboration especially meaningful.”

The 2026 American Package Design Awards celebrate packaging’s ability to communicate a brand story, enhance the product experience, and create a meaningful connection with consumers. Gold Ridge Organic Farms’ project was selected in the Food & Beverage category.
