Connecticut hot sauce company partners with Colorado nonprofit First Descents
BRANFORD, CT (APRIL 2026) — Hook & Arrow, a small-batch condiment company founded by brothers Henry and Sam Dziekan in Branford, Connecticut, announces the launch of its newest hot sauce, Blueberry, Ghost Pepper | Extra Spicy, in partnership with Colorado-based nonprofit First Descents. A portion of the profits from this hot sauce will be donated to First Descents, a nonprofit that helps young adults with cancer or MS heal through outdoor adventures like kayaking, climbing, and surfing beautiful locales around the country.
After a successful partnership between Hook & Arrow and First Descents in October of 2022 that raised over $6,000 for First Descents, the brands decided to renew that partnership with a permanent addition to Hook & Arrow’s lineup, Blueberry, Ghost Pepper | Extra Spicy.
Blueberry, Ghost Pepper | Extra Spicy is a spicier version of a previous limited edition hot sauce which was also part of their partnership with First Descents. This new version is now the spiciest sauce in Hook & Arrow’s lineup.
