The award-winning cocktail brand earns one of the industry’s highest honors and advances to the final round of Best of Class judging.
July 13, 2026 - Knox & Dobson, the award-winning craft ready-to-drink cocktail brand, proudly announced that it has earned two Double Gold Medals at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The Daiquiri and the Improved Whiskey Cocktail both received the top honor, with the latter marking its fourth consecutive Double Gold win. This consistency qualifies the Improved Whiskey Cocktail for the coveted Platinum Medal, an honor reserved for products that achieve Double Gold recognition in four consecutive competitions.

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is widely regarded as one of the most respected and influential spirits competitions in the world. Products are evaluated through a blind tasting process, with judges assessing aroma, flavor, balance, texture and overall quality. A Double Gold Medal is awarded strictly when 70 independent judges on the panel unanimously agree that a product merits a Gold Medal distinction.
As part of the recognition, Knox & Dobson cocktails will be served during the competition’s awards gala reception.
On Nov. 8, the final Best of Class winners will be announced live at the Top Shelf Awards Gala at the Hotel Nikko San Francisco. During the event, the brand’s Improved Whiskey Cocktail will compete for the category’s highest honor as it receives its Platinum Medal.
