Retailers connect their point of sale and distributor accounts to Mable to replenish store shelves in minutes. Stores are saving 20 to 30 hours a week.
BOSTON, October 13, 2026 — Mable, the B2B marketplace technology used by retailers and leading distributors, launched Mable Connect. The product is an AI-powered replenishment tool that drafts a store's purchase orders by leveraging real-time sales and supply data.
Mable Connect is built for the way independent stores actually buy: from a mix of mainline distributors, direct brands, and local suppliers, each with their own ordering method. The data behind a well-informed purchase order, like sales history, inventory, and supplier stock status, all resides in disparate systems. Drafting a week's orders still means walking the aisles and pulling reporting from several sources. It’s hours of work a week, and easy to get wrong.
Mable Connect solves this by connecting to retailers’ point of sale and supplier accounts to match and enhance product data from the various sources. Sales history, inventory, and supply status are analyzed to generate intelligent purchase orders on demand. Retailers have the opportunity to review and edit the orders, then send them from their Mable account to the respective distributor via the preferred method. EDI, email, or ecommerce cart purchases are all supported.
“I ran a grocery store in Vermont for years and this is the tool I wish I had. I knew the data to inform replenishment existed, but it was a mess to tie it all together,” said Arik Keller, founder and CEO of Mable and former owner of Paradise Provisions in Warren, Vermont.
Independent food and beverage retailers started using Mable Connect this year, and together they're publishing hundreds of items and thousands of dollars in orders through the tool every week. Orders that used to take hours now take minutes.
"Our ordering process before Mable was very much a nightmare," said Alan DeAngelo, owner of The Natural Grocer in Newburyport, Massachusetts and user of Mable Connect. "We would spend 6-8 hours for me and probably 24 hours a week for our buyer to process orders. Now with Mable, it's a matter of clicking on the vendor, reviewing an order, and pushing send, and we're saving a minimum of 20-30 hours per week.”
DeAngelo describes the change in a short video: https://youtu.be/Z-yuoIyaa4Y?si=hQKbOU0SbQHgdvlW.
