After 10 years of steady expansion and growing national awareness, Louisiana’s largest salsa producer is scaling production and targeting 1 million jars annually.
AVOYELLES PARISH, LOUISIANA – 2 Sisters’ Salsa Company, the largest salsa producer in Louisiana, is entering a new phase of accelerated growth following a decade of steady expansion, increasing brand awareness, and a recent leadership transition.
Now distributed across more than 30 states and over 6,000 grocery stores nationwide, the company has built a strong regional and national presence. Under the leadership of President and majority owner Denise Ramon, 2 Sisters’ is focused on scaling operations, expanding brand visibility, and increasing market share across multiple channels.
Scaling Production for National Demand
Operating from a 17,000-square-foot production facility in Avoyelles Parish, the company recently added a 10,000-square-foot warehouse expansion to support increased capacity and future growth. This positions the company to meet rising demand as it works toward producing more than 1 million jars annually.
“We’ve built a strong foundation over the past 10 years,” said Ramon. “Now, we’re focused on scaling the business in a way that allows us to reach more customers while maintaining the quality that got us here.”
From Local Roots to National Brand
Founded by Patrick Deshotels, 2 Sisters’ Salsa began as a local operation and has grown into a nationally distributed brand carried by major retailers, including Walmart, as well as independent grocers. The company’s products are known for their “farm fresh” positioning, using peak-season tomatoes and no added sugar.
This consistent product quality, combined with expanding distribution, has driven increasing brand awareness in a highly competitive category.
Multi-Channel Growth Strategy
As part of its next phase, 2 Sisters’ is executing a diversified growth strategy focused on:
- Expanding private-label manufacturing partnerships with national and regional retailers
- Increasing direct-to-consumer sales through e-commerce platforms
- Strengthening brand awareness through digital and social commerce channels
- Growing international distribution, with early expansion into markets such as Costa Rica and Hong Kong
“We’re seeing strong demand not just for our brand, but also from partners looking for high-quality private-label solutions,” Ramon added. “Our goal is to be a flexible, scalable partner across retail, foodservice, and e-commerce.”
Positioned for the Future
With a decade of operational experience, expanded infrastructure, and a clear strategy for growth, 2 Sisters’ Salsa Company is well-positioned for its next stage. The company continues to invest in brand development and new sales channels to support long-term expansion.
