The Spice Lab earns recognition at Walmart’s 2026 Open Call in Bentonville, Arkansas
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — October 30, 2026 — The Spice Lab, a women-owned, American-run spice company based in Pompano Beach, Florida, received a Golden Ticket at Walmart’s 2026 Open Call, held October 6–7 at Walmart’s home office in Bentonville, Arkansas. The company earned the recognition for its Creative Mixology drink rimmers, giving the product line an opportunity to move forward in Walmart’s consideration process for potential placement in stores and on Walmart.com.
Scott McDulin, Executive Vice President of Branded Sales at The Spice Lab, traveled to Bentonville to represent the company and pitch its products directly to Walmart merchants. Alongside the Creative Mixology drink rimmers, he also presented the company’s Air Fryer Seasonings, which were not selected at this time.

Walmart’s annual Open Call invites entrepreneurs and small businesses with products made, grown or assembled in the United States to pitch directly to Walmart and Sam’s Club buyers. The event is part of Walmart’s commitment to invest $350 billion in U.S.-made products by 2030. A Golden Ticket gives selected suppliers the opportunity to move forward toward potential placement on Walmart shelves and Walmart.com.
The Creative Mixology line of drink rimmers adds flavor and color to the rims of cocktails, mocktails and other beverages, giving home bartenders an easy way to dress up a drink.
