Specialty Food Association

In a wave of new club openings, BJ's is growing to more eastern and midwestern stores. According to its next phase of 2022 development plans, customers will soon be able to shop in Noblesville, Indiana, New Albany, Ohio, Wayne, New Jersey, and Midlothian, Virginia.

“We've seen tremendous success in growing our footprint over the last several years, both in our core east coast communities as well as in new markets like the greater Detroit and Pittsburgh areas,” said Bill Werner, executive vice president of strategy and development at BJ's, in a statement. “Our expansion into the greater Indianapolis and Columbus markets allows us to bring the value of our membership to these new communities we look forward to serving.”

The new Noblesville location will be the company's first club in Indiana, while the other locations will bolster the already large club presence in their respective states. The new stores will feature a selection of fresh foods, a full-service deli, household essentials, cleaning products, clothing, technology, and more.

Each new storefront brings about 150 job opportunities to each location.
