H-E-B to Renovate Store

H-E-B has announced plans to renovate and expand its store in Waxahachie, Texas, this year.

The renovations will grow the store’s footprint to 127,000 square feet, and with the additional space and broader assortment of products, the location will become an H-E-B plus! store. Once complete, the location will feature new and upgraded departments, a larger product assortment, a 2-lane Pharmacy Drive Thru, an expanded Curbside pickup area with more dedicated parking spaces.

New amenities include:

• True Texas BBQ restaurant

• Sushi Kiosk featuring sushi selections made in-store daily and Sushiya Grill offerings

• Cooking Connections location offering recipe demonstrations

• Charcoal & Grilling section featuring outdoor cooking essentials

Additionally, the renovations will update existing store areas. Upgrades include:

• Additional checkout and self-checkout lanes

• Expanded Bakery department with a wide selection of artisan breads, large varieties of desserts, pastries, and cakes

• Improved full-service seafood counter with bigger service case

• Expanded Meat Market Department with full-service counter

• Larger healthy living department with bulk food items, supplements, and nut grinding station

• Built-out craft beer and wine section with a sampling station

The store will remain open during the renovations, which are expected to be complete in 2024.
