Hot Sauce Vending Machine Comes to Cincinnati

Specialty Food Association

Dude, Seriously Hot Sauce has launched the world’s first hot sauce vending machine at the Oakley Kitchen Food Hall in Cincinnati, which features eight restaurant concepts, a cocktail bar and bottle shop, a local market, and event space.

The vending machine offers over 35 varieties of 5-ounce glass hot sauce bottles, including Dude, Seriously’s signature hot sauce, as well as other local and national brands like Tabasco and Cholula.

“No hot sauce lover will get left out,” said Kai Schneider, CEO of Dude, Seriously, in a statement. “If you like a mild, we have you covered. And if you want to sweat we can make that happen too.”

Schneider thought of the vending machine idea back in March 2020.

"I was considering opening my own store, but when the pandemic hit, I began to rethink retail,” he said. “People deserve a hassle-free experience with minimal risk of exposure and the vending machine supplies that and so much more."
