Lone Star Bee Company Wins Gold

Lone Star Bee Company won a Gold Award in the 2022 Mediterranean Taste Awards in London, a top honor in the international food industry. Tuscan Blue Rosemary & Black Pepper infused honey was honored in the excellent taste awards category. 

A total of 224 winners were selected from nearly 1,600 entries across 15 product categories. Products were evaluated by food scientists and experts in the food and beverage industry, including Valentino Rossi, sous chef presso, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants; Sofia Moulinou, sous chef, The Dixon, Tower Bridge; Marco Sanna, head chef, Margot Restaurant Covent Garden; and Labis Marazakis, chef, Atrion Hotel, Iraklion, Crete.

“We’re very proud to have won the Gold Award,” says Mark Crippen, cofounder and co-owner of Lone Star Bee Company, in a statement. “It is a huge honor to be recognized internationally by the Mediterranean Taste Awards.”

The Mediterranean Taste Awards have been held since June 2020. The competition is open annually to food manufacturers worldwide.
