The Fresh Market revealed yesterday that two key promotions are underway at its corporate office. Peter Mays has been promoted to group vice president, and Wade Yenny to vice president of center store.
“These promotions are a recognition of the hard work and significant contributions team members have made to The Fresh Market,” said Dan Portnoy, chief merchandising officer at The Fresh Market, in a statement. “We look forward to their continued contributions in the years to come.”
Peter Mayes has previously held the role of meat and seafood director at the company. In his new position, he will continue to oversee these categories as well as take on additional functions related to the supply chain, visual merchandising, and pricing.
Wade Yenny was formerly director of grocery merchandising. Now, he will oversee grocery, dairy, and frozen food in addition to taking on projects related to space planning.
