Wild About Bread Launches New Flavors at Kroger

Specialty Food Association

Wild About Bread has introduced new single-pack flavors for its Home Baked Bread Made Simple line at Kroger stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas. The new flavors—Sweet Onion, Roasted Garlic & Herb, Everything But the Bagel, and Rustic White—let consumers make fresh bakery-quality breads at home from breadsticks and loaves to pizza crusts.

"Mix, proof and bake; it really is that simple to have fresh, warm, artisan bread at home," said Chris Harlander, general manager for Wild About Bread, in a statement.

Consumer demand for simple solutions for making bread at home led the company to create a bread mix kit and PrepPal mixing and proofing container that simplifies the bread making process without sacrificing quality or crust expected from bakery items, according to the company. New single-pack flavors can be used with or without the PrepPal container.

Kroger features Wild About Bread on specially designed display racks in the fresh bakery section. "Our new single-pack flavors offer easy flavor solutions for busy consumers while still making baking bread easy, fun and fast," added Harlander.
