PLAUCHEVILLE, LOUISIANA, 7/19/2021 -- Albertsons Southern Division, which also includes Randalls and Tom Thumb stores, will now carry all 5 premium restaurant style salsas.
The Texas-based grocery chain is now carrying the company's five flavors -- Fiesta, Original, Jalapeno and new flavors Honey and Verde. Albertsons Southern division has 165 stores in Texas and Louisiana, said Denise Ramon, President at 2 Sisters' Salsa Co.
"We are excited to grow our salsa line in Albertsons Southern and appreciate their support as we expand our brand nationally," said Denise Ramon. "With the recent expansion of our salsa on all Albertsons Southern shelves, this will certainly play a huge role in sales. Our loyal customer base in these banners will continue to benefit from these additional product lines."
Avoyelles Parish based 2 Sisters' Salsa is made with fresh produce, is sugar and gluten free and can be found in grocery stores in over 25 states, 6,000 grocery stores from large box chains to small boutique grocery stores.
The company recently completed a massive 12,000 sq ft warehouse expansion to keep up with the growth, said Owner/CEO Patrick Deshotels. The company is expected to sell over 1.5 million jars in 2021.
