These meat alternatives are packaged as shelf stable powdered mixes, just add water & oil, mix, form and cook! They are made with clean ingredients, are soy and gluten free, high in protein and fiber and don’t require cold chain transportation or storage. So they are healthy for the body and the earth.
“The flavors are the amazing part.” said Dominique Debroux of the SFA member company AnnaMaria’s Foods. She found these products in Italy and is now importing them for the US market. “Italians are intense on the fact that food must taste great, or they won’t eat it, no matter how good it is for you. I am not vegan or even vegetarian, yet I often choose to eat these products rather than meat because they taste so good. And they digest wonderfully!” All these products will be available for sampling at booth 5447, Plant Based Pavilion, at the Fancy Food Show.
