Award-winning Olive Oil Producer Presents California Blends

Porcini Sage, Smoked, Cilantro Lime, Citrus Habanero among delicious varieties

Beyond the Olive, an award-winning producer of high-quality gourmet California Olive Oils, small batch vinegars and tapenades, is proud to be debuting their products at the 2023 Fancy Food Fair in New York City.

“With a proud heritage of distinctive California-grown and produced oils and vinegars,” said CEO Lisa Grabow, “we’re thrilled to be a part of this year’s show, and look forward to bringing our work to new markets and consumers.”

The Los Angeles-based company will be showcasing its entire product line, and highlighting its range of California Olive Oils—Porcini Sage, Smoked, the award-winning Cilantro Lime, Citrus Habanero, and their special California Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oils.

All are grown and bottled in the USA.

The Porcini Sage, which took home a Gold Medal at the Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition, is a blend of Aromatic Wild Porcini Mushrooms and wild California Sage, infused in our Early Harvest Arbequina extra virgin olive oil.

This harmonious blend creates a delicious mouthful of porcini and a wonderful herbaceous finish of both the sage and the peppery Arbequina. The Certified California Grown, Certified non-GMO oil is just perfect for delicious drizzling on broiled fruits, vegetables, pasta, rice dishes, fish, or just some savory dipping.

Our Porcini Sage was harvested in December of 2022 from fields in Capay Valley, California.

Take a Certified California Extra Virgin Olive Oil  grown in Paso Robles made from Ascolano olives and “cold-smoke” it with our own perfect blend of sweet and aromatic woods, and you have our Smoked Olive Oil, a unique, smoky blend which adds a hearty hint of smoke to everything from grilled vegetables to meats and fish.

Our Smoked Olive Oil was harvested in November of 2022 in Paso Robles, California.

Fresh Cilantro and fresh limes, along with harvested olives are the co-stars of our Cilantro Lime Co-Pressed California Olive Oil, a bold, exotic olive oil, which pairs perfectly with dishes like tequila lime chicken or a simple  hummus or couscous salad. This delicious oil also mixes perfectly with our Pear Ginger Wasabi Wine Vinegar.

This blend was harvested and milled December 2022 in Stanislaus Valley, California.

Prefer a little heat with your oil? Oranges and late harvest olives are pressed on the first day of milling to create our Orange Olive Oil. The following day, lemons and our olives are perfectly blended to create our Eureka! Lemon Olive Oil.

Finally, Habanero Chilies are added during the milling of our olives to create  a true “chili oil.”  From there, everything is carefully combined  to create a little heat and a little citrus tang for a "beginners heat" Citrus Habanero “Co-pressed” Olive Oil blend.  This blended mix, which won a Bronze medal at the Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition, works especially well  with our Graham Marsala White Balsamic.

And our Habanero Olive Oil is even hotter, for those who care to indulge. This blend was harvested  November 2022 in Stanislaus Valley, California.

Our Arroyo Seco Extra Virgin Olive Oil won Gold at the New York International Olive Oil Competition and is Certified by the California Olive Oil Council.

Finally, we are especially proud of our Pasadena Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which we like to call our “California Blend.” This is a rich beautiful blend of Manzanilla and Mission Olives that tastes like Beach Boys harmonies.

The oil is fruity, and full on the tongue with lush, floral overtones, with a peppery finish. These varietals were brought by the original Spanish missionaries and are the first olives to be grown in California

With a polyphenol count of 875, one of the highest counts in the industry, this blend is a  healthy choice for those watching their blood pressure. Polyphenols are an anti-inflammatory, and work to keep blood thin, and blood pressure manageable.  This oil was harvested in December 2022 in Zamora, California.
