NEW YORK (June 2023) – At this year’s Summer Fancy Food Show, Bono USA will be featuring its Sicilia PGI Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which was recently included among the best olive oils available in supermarkets nationwide by The New York Times’ Wirecutter section. After independently reviewing more than 40 bottles of EVOO, the tasting panel described Bono’s Sicilia PGI Organic as “smooth and buttery” as well as “fruity and floral.”

“We are thrilled that The New York Times has recognized our award-winning Sicilia PGI certified organic extra virgin olive oil and look forward to sharing this product with this year’s visitors of the Fancy Food Show,” said President and CEO of Bono USA, Salvatore Russo-Tiesi. “We encourage buyers and others to come by and taste for themselves.”

Bono will also be showcasing new hot Calabrian peppers in whole and chopped varieties, and the full product line of extra virgin olive oils, Sicilian olives, tomato sauces and fruit marmalades.

“We are also excited to present our new hot Calabrian peppers, which are growing in popularity nationwide, and are a great addition to tomato sauces, on top of pizza, and can be whisked into vinaigrettes, amongst other uses,” added Russo-Tiesi.
