Exciting news from Ginger’s Breadboys as product development is nearing completion for a comprehensive Gingerbread House Kit to debut this holiday season.
Ginger’s Breadboys’ decision to add to their line of baking and decorating kits came from overwhelming interest of Ginger’s Breadboys’ customers. Ginger’s Breadboys started the process for the Gingerbread House Kit in 2021 with a decorating party requested by a client and from there proceeded to define the necessary items to create a kit to add to their product line. Pre-orders can be processed now with shipping in early Fall 2022.
Keeping to its branding and signature gingerbread dough mix, Ginger’s Breadboys partnered with many of its existing vendors to source items for the Gingerbread House Kit.
Notably, the new Gingerbread House Kit will make two (2) large (5” x 7”) gingerbread houses. That alone is a standout among similar products. The kit will come complete with enough candies and decorating tools for numerous creative options. As with all cookie kits from Ginger’s Breadboys, the Gingerbread House Kit will be sustainably packaged in the large rectangular tin that has become a signature brand element for Ginger’s Breadboys.
In addition to the gingerbread mix, other kit crossovers include the decorating tools bag – pastry bags, green gel food coloring, couplers, and tube tips – pre-cut parchment paper and cinnamon candies. Ginger’s Breadboys has swapped out the pastry brush kitchen utensil for dough embossers to add additional design elements.
New to the Gingerbread House Kit will be a packet of meringue powder to make icing that dries hard and fast for ease in assembling the houses. By contrast, all cookie kits will continue to advocate for royal icing made with pasteurized egg whites as this icing is by far tastier and easy to eat.
Ginger’s Breadboys will once again partner with Laurie Wolfe to create the illustration for the Gingerbread House Kit. A talented brand consultant and illustrator, Laurie’s collection Indigo Horses is not to be missed. A photo shoot is planned for early Summer 2022.
Hours of testing and proofing go into each kit from the kitchen of Ginger’s Breadboys, and the Gingerbread House Kit is no exception. Ginger’s Breadboys has set out to transform the daunting task of making gingerbread houses into a simple and easy activity that requires only the addition of a few pantry items and a bit of love and fun to create gingerbread houses for the holidays.
