Laconiko Launches Line of Puréevino Fruit Vinegars

MANASSAS, VA, February 6, 2023 -- Laconiko, known for producing award-winning olive oils, is excited to announce a new line of exceptional quality raw fruit vinegars.  Puréevino vinegars are a fresher and healthier Mediterranean style vinegar, made by fusing high quality Greek dry white wine vinegar, grape must from Italy, and crushed fruit.  These new Puréevino vinegars come in four, fruit-filled flavors - Mango, Blueberry, Strawberry, Tangerine.

“My brother Dino and I can’t wait for the culinary community, mixologists and home chefs to taste and experiment with these mouthwatering fruit vinegars. Our inspiration came from our Mediterranean Greek heritage. We wanted to create a raw vinegar that is more like the wine vinegars our family has enjoyed for generations,” shares Diamantis Pierrakos, co-owner of Laconiko. “Our vinegars also pair perfectly with our award-winning olive oils that are packed with healthy polyphenols.”

Great in Cocktail and Mocktails

“Think beyond the plate to the glass,” encourages Dino Pierrakos, co-owner of Laconiko. “These raw fruit vinegars work well in cocktails such as a Spritz, Sangria or a Mojito. It’s really fun to experiment with the flavors!”

Mango Sangria:

-- 3-4 oz Laconiko Mango Pureevino

-- 1 bottle White Wine (Riesling or Moscato)

-- 2-3 oz Coconut Rum

-- Ice

-- 1 apple (sliced)1 orange (sliced)

-- Mint 

Directions: Add apples and oranges in a pitcher and muddle them with a wooden spoon.  Add Rum and Pureevino, let sit for 15-20 minutes.  Pour white wine and ice. Garnish with a little mint.  Cheers!
