Nearly 1,600 Products Evaluated for Top Recognition
Houston, Texas (March 22, 2022) – Lone Star Bee Company was awarded a Gold Award in the 2022 Mediterranean Taste Awards in London UK, a top honor in the international food industry.
Tuscan Blue Rosemary & Black Pepper infused honey was awarded the Gold Award in the excellent taste awards category. A total of 224 winners were selected from nearly 1,600 entries across 15 product categories. Products were evaluated by top class food scientists and experts in the food and beverage industry. The 2022 judging panel included Valentino Rossi (Sous Chef presso Gordon Ramsay Restaurants), Sofia Moulinou (Sous Chef at The Dixon, Tower Bridge), Marco Sanna (Head Chef at Margot Restaurant Covent Garden), and Labis Marazakis (Chef Atrion Hotel, Iraklion, Crete), among others.

The Mediterranean Taste Awards have been held since June 2020. The competition is open annually to food manufacturers worldwide.
