Maker Prep Second Cohort Opens

Specialty Food Association has opened the second cohort of its Maker Prep online course. Maker Prep is a program designed to enable specialty food businesses to upskill, setting them up for long-term success.

The course is made up of 12 modules covering essential topics including how to develop a product, finance a business, and build a brand.  Specialty food leaders can pick which topics they want to learn about and go at their own pace.

Whether a specialty business is refining its product or preparing to scale its business, Maker Prep is designed to help build and sustain a thriving brand. The online course may be purchased here.

SFA will also host a live webinar series, The Secret Sauce, featuring Dave Hirschkop, founder of Dave's Gourmet. He will interview major players in the specialty food industry and discussing what qualities set apart great leaders.
